Laser cut & engraved acrylic display stand for the Darth Vader Tie Advanced Fighter from the POTF (early 2000s) series.

The base measures 5" in diameter ,made from 1/4" thick clear acrylic with the Empire logo engraved.

The support is 5" tall, made from 1/4" and 1/8" thick clear acrylic. (see photo for mounting)

This does not hold the vintage one from the 80s.

Assembly required,no hardware or tools needed.
Occasionally some parts may fit into the base slightly loose. This is due to the acrylic not always being exactly the same thickness, it can be .5 mm different. You may use super glue on the parts tab that inserts into the base. If you do so, please use only  a very small amount, this will tighten the part, your not actually trying to glue it.
Or you may use clear tape .

Toy is NOT included

Looks great and very well made but it would be nice for quick instructions for a few of the stands but I figured it out.

This is a great display stand. The fighter secures to it nicely and it is very sturdy.

    Final impressions

I received my stand a few days ago & the first thing I noticed was the weight. The base, neck & finger was all wrapped together with Saran wrap. It was heavy to be so small a package. After easily piecing together I couldn’t get the tie to properly fit. I nearly broke the finger thinking it wasnt fitting the neck properly. After fiddling around i realized the finger was too thick. Theres a small 1/4” slit in the tie fighters base the finger needs to slide into. After thinning the finger with a Dremel the stand is awesome. I think it would be a good idea to point out a little bit of thinning may be necessary where the finger meets the tie fighter. This area is just above where the finger is joined to the neck. So great stand but a little extra work may be needed.
