USS Enterprise D 1/1400

I recently bought the stand for my 1400-scale Enterprise D model kit. I had been using the stock stand that came with the kit and the model is so saucer-heavy that it tilted forward on the stock stand. It looked a little pathetic, drooped forward like that. This stand is incredible. It's a wonderful show piece on its own, and it positions the model tilting up, really giving it an air of grace and majesty. It makes my model look way better than it did before. If anything, I'm sad that there aren't more stands like this available for purchase. I would buy a stand like this for my other 1000-scale and 1400-scale models in a heartbeat. Great stand, will make your model look better on the shelf.

The original stand that came with my model was flimsy and broke years ago. I've had my model in storage because I had no practical way to display after its original stand broke. This stand is how the model is meant to be showcased -- attractive and sturdy. The beautiful etching on the base adds so much to the elegance of the stand.

I’ve purchased many stands but my choice on this elevates my model and does justice to this design. The stand helps show the elongated neck and pays homage to Picard’s painting in his ready room on Star Trek TNG. My model shines with this design and for a 30 year old model finds his home with this stand. Thank you for always quality and great designs.
